UKRAVTOTERM offers the AUTOTERM Travel Box 2.0 portable diesel heater with a built-in fuel tank and battery. This portable device can be used to heat temporary shelters, kiosks and construction sites, as well as taken on trips where there is no access to the mains electricity supply.
The Travel Box 2.0 сwas developed by AUTOTERM, a European company headquartered in Latvia. It manufactures air and liquid heaters, water heaters, control systems and accessories for autonomous heating. The manufacturer’s quality management and environmental management systems are certified to the international standards ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015.

How the Travel Box 2.0 works
The suitcase-shaped casing houses a 1–2 kW Air 2D diesel heater, a 5-litre stainless steel fuel tank and a battery. To prepare the heater for use, charge the battery, fill the fuel tank and connect the exhaust pipe and air ducts, following the instructions.
The unit itself remains outside, whilst warm air is fed into the room via the air duct. No mains connection is required during operation – so the Travel Box is convenient to use during power cuts or in places where there is no electricity at all.
With a fully charged battery and a full fuel tank, the heater can run for approximately 8 hours at maximum power or 18 hours at minimum power.
Where it comes in handy
The Travel Box 2.0 can be used to heat temporary shelters, market stalls and kiosks, as well as on building sites. It will help keep you warm whilst working or serve as a backup if the main heating system fails.
The heater may also come in handy whilst travelling – for example, if your car gets stuck in snow or mud, or breaks down far from anywhere you can get warm. And when camping, it can be used to heat a tent or caravan.
What makes it convenient
- Simple operation. To start it, simply hold the button down for more than two seconds. The four power levels are indicated by different colours on the display. Once switched on, the unit operates at maximum power, which can be adjusted by briefly pressing the button.
- Portability. The unit can be moved between locations and used without fixed installation. It weighs 22.5 kg with a full fuel tank.
- Battery-saving mode during standby. A built-in relay reduces power consumption when the heater is switched off.
- Outdoor use. The Travel Box 2.0 can be used in light rain or snowfall, provided the wind does not blow water into the air intake.
Important: it is prohibited to install the heater whilst it is running inside a building, tent or any other enclosed space. Only warm air is supplied to the interior, whilst exhaust fumes must be directed away from doors, windows and air intakes.
Contents
The standard version of the Travel Box 2.0 (EU version) comes with a 1 m exhaust pipe with a clamp, 45 cm of exhaust pipe insulation, a charger, a 220 V mains power cable and a 12 V cable with battery clamps. Both cables are 1.8 m long.
Air ducts with a diameter of 60 mm are used for air supply. These are not included in the pack and must be purchased separately. The maximum length of the straight warm-air duct is 8 m, and that of the intake duct is 1.5 m. No sharp bends are permitted in the first metre of the air duct after it exits the heater; grilles must not obstruct the airflow.

A battery is essential for the Travel Box 2.0 to operate. In the standard version, it is already fitted; however, if you plan to use your own compatible battery, you can choose the AUTOTERM Travel Box 2.0 Light – a version without a battery or a 220 V power cable. To operate it, you will need to connect it to a compatible 12 V external battery, such as a car battery. If you plan to install your own battery inside the box, it must be sealed and measure 181×77×167 mm. As a guide: the standard version uses a Victron AGM battery with a capacity of 22 Ah. The operating time of the Light version will depend on the capacity and charge level of the selected battery.
